Today, for once on its own behalf: The Association of Supervisory Boards in Germany (VARD e.V. ), initiator of GermanBoardNews, has a new executive committee. Following the retirement of former RWE boss Dietmar Kuhnt, the members elected former railway manager Heike Hanagarth and Cewe Supervisory Board Chairman Otto Korte to the board. Hanagarth, who among other things sits on the Supervisory Board of Lanxess, now serves as deputy to long-time President Hans-Joachim Körber. There have also been some changes on the Management Board: Andreas Brand, Burkhard Randel and Andrea Teutenberg are now acting as VARD board members for Wilhelm Haarmann, Stephan Kufferath and Carl-Dieter Wuppermann.
Mandates from the Bauer Group to ZF Friedrichshafen
Andreas Brand is the Lord Mayor of Friedrichshafen and sits on the Supervisory Board of ZF Friedrichshafen, among other things. Burkhard Randel, for many years Managing Director of the mechanical engineering company Meiko, now manages its owner, the Oskar and Rosel Meier Foundation. The former Bombardier manager Andrea Teutenberg is a member of the Supervisory Boards of the Bauer Group and KSB Management SE. Members of the Board of Management will remain WHU professor and expert on family businesses Nadine Kammerlander, as well as Chairman Peter H. Dehnen and his Vice Chairman Volker Wiedmeyer.
