The MDax Group ProSiebenSat.1 has appointed the Italian manager Antonella Mei-Pochtler (61 ) was appointed to the Supervisory Board. The special advisor to Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was initially appointed by the court in April. At the Annual General Meeting in June, the shareholders are to approve the personnel. Born in Rome, she succeeds the former Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard manager Angela Gifford, who had already resigned her mandate in January. “With her many years of experience in the media and brand business, she is the ideal person to fill the position,” commented Supervisory Board Chairman Werner Brandt the new arrival.
Four Supervisory Board mandates in three countries
Antonella Mei-Pochtler currently heads the staff unit for strategy and planning in the Austrian Federal Chancellery. Prior to this, she worked for the Boston Consulting Group for more than 20 years, most recently as a member of the global management board. Mei-Pochtler already sits on the supervisory boards of Publicis Groupe (France), Generali Group (Italy) and Westwing Group (Germany). With ProSieben, this is now the fourth mandate. She knows the Munich area inside out: After finishing school, she studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University.
