Chip manufacturer Infineon is bringing a media and digital expert on board: At the Annual General Meeting on February 20, shareholders are expected to elect Xiaoqun Clever to the 16-member Supervisory Board. In recent years, the 49-year-old has served as Chief Technology Officer at both ProSieben Sat 1 and the Swiss Ringier publishing house. In the meantime, Xiaoqun Clever is CEO of the software development and IT consulting company LuxNova Suisse GmbH, of which she is one of the co-founders. In addition, the graduate computer scientist sits on several supervisory bodies, for example at the IT consulting company Capgemini SE, the management holding company Maxingvest AG and the Cornelsen Group.
No less than four prominent members of the Supervisory Board resign
In addition to Clever, long-standing BMW board member Friedrich Eichiner, former ABB CEO Ulrich Spiesshofer and former Railway and BASF manager Margret Suckale are to join the Infineon Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting. The quartet replaces former Infineon CEO Peter Bauer, VW CEO Herbert Diess, opinion researcher Renate Köcher and Eckart Sünner. Until recently, the lawyer and compliance expert served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Sünner and his three colleagues had all “contributed with great commitment and important impulses to developing Infineon into one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers,” said his successor Wolfgang Eder.
