The transport technology group Vossloh has hired a prominent manager: Former Railway boss Rüdiger Grube is to move into the six-member supervisory board shortly and then take over as chairman, the company announced earlier this week. The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Ulrich Harnacke, will retain his mandate and take over the chairmanship of the Audit Committee. A place on the supervisory body had become vacant because Bernhard Düttmann had resigned from his position at the end of the year. The former CFO of Lanxess has served as CEO of Ceconomy since mid-October and therefore wanted to reduce other commitments.
There is no boredom – Grub’s 4th chief position
Besides Harnacke, Railway Manager Sigrid Nikutta, Governance Professor Anne Christine d’Arcy and Works Council members Michael Ulrich and Andreas Kretschmann will also remain on the Vossloh Supervisory Board. For Rüdiger Grube this is not his first executive position on a supervisory body: he also serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the MDax company Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) and Bombardier Transport GmbH; at the Paul Schockemöhle Logistics Group he heads the Advisory Board. In addition, there are further mandates, for example with the tunnel builder Herrenknecht.
