Dairy entrepreneur Theo Müller has apparently found a new chairman of the supervisory board: As Manager Magazin reports in its current issue, Till Reuter has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board since September. The 51-year-old surprisingly resigned from his position as CEO of Augsburg robot manufacturer Kuka in December. At the Theo Müller Group, as the official name suggests, the lawyer and business economist is taking on a difficult task: his predecessor, former Danone manager Thomas Kunz, threw in the towel in May after less than five months.
Reuter follows in Heiner Kamps’ footsteps
Previously, the bakery entrepreneur Heiner Kamps, who served as CEO from 2011 to 2015, had headed the Supervisory Board. With brands such as Müller Milch, Homann and Weihenstephan, Müller’s Molkerei Group has an annual turnover of almost six billion euros. In the meantime, the company has confirmed that Till Reuter has moved into the Supervisory Board – but did not want to comment on whether he will take over the chairmanship. The collaboration with Patriarch Theo Müller is considered difficult.
