Supervisory Board of the week: Norma finds replacement for Stefan Wolf

Mark Wilhelms

Following the inglorious departure of Supervisory Board Chairman Stefan Wolf, who was voted out of office at the Annual General Meeting in May, the supervisory body of the industrial and automotive supplier Norma Group is once again complete: The MDax company has appointed Stabilus CFO Mark Wilhelms to its six-member Supervisory Board. The manager has”many years of experience and expertise both in the financial sector and in information technology,” was the reason given.

Lars Magnus Berg and Knut Michelberger remain on board

Other members of the Norma Supervisory Board include former Dematic CFO Knut Michelberger, former Opel manager Rita Forst, former Mannesmann manager Lars Magnus Berg, who has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Shareholder advisors had criticized all three in the run-up to the Annual General Meeting – Berg and Michelberger for their age, Forst for her Supervisory Board mandate at ElringKlinger (because at that time she monitored her own Supervisory Board Chairman, who acts full-time as ElringKlinger CEO). All three nevertheless made it onto the Supervisory Board – only Wolf was punished.
